Hello, Welcome to the mailing list dedicated to announcments, discussion, and information about the University of Chicago's development of the former Doctor's Hosptial located in the 5800 block of Stony Island. For those of you who have not used an email list before it works like this: Any email sent to the email list address, stonyislandsite@pavethelake.com, is delivered to all the list's subscribers. Any reply to such a message goes, unless you change the address, back to everyone on the email list. Your email address will be revealed to everyone on the list. You are not anonymous. Sadly, the email server is old and slow. Please be patient and give it a few minutes to deliver mail. This is a public mailing list. Anyone may send mail to the list members. Anyone may sign up to receive list mailings. Do not put other people's personal information in any email sent to this list. Do not write anything you would not wish to be publicly immortalized, forever. The emails sent to this list are archived. Please do not send pictures or other large documents via this list. To post a message to all the list members, send email to stonyislandsite@pavethelake.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to StonyIslandSite
Subscribe to StonyIslandSite by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
